This mob do conversions on 79 series in Sth Africa, might be able to help.

Re: Fj cruiser... V8 turbo diesel conversion?? Possible??
Engine bay looks to be very small. I think if you drove the v6 that comes in the fjc you wouldn't worry about any engine conversions. I've never had so much fun in soft sand in anything else (including my old Lexus V8 4runner. Even stock gears and engine with 35s the fjc hauled arse in soft sand ...

Re: BJ42 rear diff just went bang.

BJ42 rear diff just went bang.

BJ42 to BJ45 or BJ73 to Bj45
I've had this idea kicking around in my head for a while now, and as I'm having trouble finding appropriate info, I thought I'd ask here.
I currently have a BJ42 that is my daily driver and sometime fun car It has a 5 speed, power steering and lift and a rear locker. I also have a hj45 cab that ...

Re: Bilstein 5125 shocks, any good
I'd try a warranty claim.
I've helped fit them to a Defender 110 and I run them in my track car and never had any problems. They usually have a pretty high standard of quality, you may have got one that slipped through.

Re: 40 series flex.
Does anyone have any experience with 45 springs in the rear of BJ42?
Thinking of creating a SWB ute and thought it would give me a little more stretch than reversed 60 series springs.
