Re: 300 Tdi 3" exhaust
Thank you for your in-depth response
It is a December 1996 300TDI discovery engine, not sure if it had a Cat or a Filter? do you know? Thanks in advance.
I'll be having a talk with Beaudesert exhausts soon, Hopefully it wont break the bank.
Cheers

Hi Have been modifying my range rover classic, has been bobtailed, now has a 300TDI conversion and in turn It needs a new exhaust system, or atleast, It's what I want. Does anyone know of some decent companies able to do some laser cutting in or around Archerfield, Brisbane
Looking at getting 4 small plates cut, would be probably out of 6mm steel

Re: Bobtail Range Rover Classic 4 Door
Pretty far into the build but haven't got any pictures from before this stage. Engine and gearbox have been removed, Gearbox Cross member removed and Fuel tank mountings have been made up. The fuel tank is going above the A-Frame almost directly over the rear axle. http://i1256.photobucket.com ...

What sort of regulations are around that may restrict your ideas, as they sound to me as pretty dangerous if you were to collect a pedestrian?
10mm should be good enough.

Re: bobtailer
Just a quick question, The fuel tank issue.
Currently tackling a range rover bobtail project, onto a discovery chassis, 300 tdi manual..
But since im not making a ute i can not put a fuel tank under the tray or in the tub, Do you have any idea on who can fab up a fuel tank for me, in qld
Thanks.

Re: what to do with a series 3
Throw out the chassis, buy a range rover or discovery chassis, and transplant the body onto the chassis.
Then change then engine and gearbox and then do what ever. or keep the engine and gearbox, your call at the end of the day
