having some trouble getting decent insurance or if at all for this vehicle.The turbo has been engineerd but the lift hasnt.is there any decent insurance companies out there? any recomendations?? thanks in advance pete

yep got it all out.cleaned everything,sprayed with contact cleaner.no change,bugger.still scratching my head on this one...what did they charge you to rebuild youre cluster?

hey everyone the speedo on my 91 gq wagon gives a false reading once the car is moving.it either reads a lot less then the speed you are doing or it goes all the way around and sits hard against the pin at the other end of the speedo....any suggestions on fix??? cheers in advance pete

hey dizzle cheers for the advice mate.

fitted the three inch EFS lift kit with tough dog adjustable panhards.handles and drives sweet.The body did move over about ten mil or so,all gooood now.

hey guys i have a 91 gq wagon with a three inch lift and two inch body lift,it has 16inch gu alloy rims allready fitted.Is it better to go to a 285x75xr16 or wpould it be better to go to a 15 inch sunrasia and suitable tyre.i am only thinking of going to say 33 size tyre.cheers in advance,pete.

yeha thats right turps.that number i quoted was just the number on the motor.i think it mite be a 12000 pound winch.bloody huge beast.havnt powered it up yet.seems to freespool fine and engages gear fine.does have a bit of noise when you turn the drum in freespool.just sounds like gears turning ...
