bring the motor up to operting temp. hold the revs about 3-4000 rpm and spray a can of carby cleaner in the in take it will clean the top end of the motor out and remove all the carbon of the other side of the spark plug. or u can use dieasl to but it will make for a good smoke machine.

u will need a new gear box, cross member, clutch lines, only good thing is the alt will bolt up. the 3L is a lot ezyer, u can use the gear box ( will need new bell housing or drill and tap starter motor holes), far bit of the wiring will plug in, just need to connected power to injector pump. also ...

You will need to remove the immobilizer unit. It receives a signal from a main control unit to make it start. If you have all the modules and wiring then all should be ok if connected correctly.

i just got a GU witch is half converted to a TD42T ( the very later modal one factory intercooled) and it has 3 wires coming out if the pump and 2 wires going into a solenoid or senser in the bottom of the pump.
i have been told i need to put power to 2 of the wires to make it go. but ...

my niss was making the noise u are talking about. all i did was cut down the inner crush tub (about 3mm) so there is more pressure on the chassis and stopped the body moving. and the noise stopped

the pump i used was approx 6-8 psi and 180l/hour and it was werth $100 i think these numbers are all approx.
and it is a diaphaim pump and i wired it to ign relay

my gq was doing the same thing and i replaced the fuel filter and all flex aball fuel lines and fitted a low pressure i line fuel pump before the filter and i have not had a probly sence and it goes better in the top end and generaly more torquey

i am putting a 5L in my patrol i have standed HQ sump for it but i am worryed about it not getting enough oil on big angles. has anyone had any problems with oil pressure in there V8s

u will need to make mounts for the front of the gaurds and drill out holes to mount the head lights ferther out, the grill clips stright on. all so both tail shafts are different lenghts.
