oh yeah we have fixing tie rods on track down pat. Winch out. Remove the tie rod, place in chasis jack point (defenders have lots of jack points) then jump on it and bend straight. Take hand winch handle and sleeve. put ends back on and you are sorted till you get home.

Go the 3rds option, Fernando makes good stuff just bloody slow. He custom made my trailing arms that we were managing to bend on a regular basis. Bloody solid product and much cheaper than his opposition. No I'm not sponsored but if anyone is offering.......

one of my mates had a lot of clunking and we narrowed it down to the same thing. It had not let go but it wouldn't have taken much more to do it. I had some extra flanges lying around so we just put them in. (def though)

Hey Guys,
Sorry it took so long but had some minor production delays.
Basically if anyone knows the defender trailing arms they know they will bend on sight especially with difflocks and/or big tires. They are pretty puny when compared to say a patrol and as some of you have seen on slunnies ...

I have a 9000lb warn and it gets submerged all the time. ive used it under mud and water as well. If you give them a run to dry out the water(as reccomended by the manufacturer) and service the gearbox( instead of leaving it full of water). They will last for years.
GET OVER IT
I bet his ...
