You could theoretically keep the drum axle tube and just bolt on the disk and caliper ends with a little adjustment but hen you would need custom length axles, not an easy/cheap option. So the easiest way is to ...

Exhaust Doc, Hi this question has been sort of asked by a couple of people but not entirely answered. I have a GQ Patrol with a TD42 naturally Aspirated Engine. At the moment the Exhaust is stock. BUT the muffler is about to fall apart as I am missing an exhaust mount (will be fixed soon). I am also ...

Definately do the panhard rod bushes! I have had the same steeing wobble issues but mine kicked in at 95Kmh. Then had to slow to a stop to get them to stop. Through trial and error I believe that we have found what can cause this. It seems to be that it is caused by bump steer from the lugs on the ...

Finally Working (Simple Really)
Following my earlier post about the speedo reaching 80 then dropping to zero there is a really simple fix (took me ages to stop looking for an indepth problem and try something simple) I found the solution. Even though the instructions disagree add in the 1K resistor to ground on the input signal ...

Hi All, I am tryingto find out how many people use this to correct the speedo after changing tyres / diffs. I have built one for a GQ Patrol and have not got it working yet. I'm definately interested in one for a GQ patrol and one for a Feroza. Let me know when you get this up and running. Will you be making them to fit a safari style head/donaldson filter or more like the example of the jeep with the angled cut out like most truck exhausts? My 2c is that the safari ...

Ever seen a water pump this bad??
After a massive failure of any coolant flow in the GQ had it in to the radiator guy. When he pulled the water pump off one of the impeller blades fell out, who knows where the other ones are. Ended up doing the whole cooling system overhaul at the same time. Replaced: Radiator Top & Bottom Hoses ...
