G'day peeps.. I'm in the process of doing a SAS on my V8 Surf using 93 model 80series diff's front & back but plan on leaving the Hilux gear-driven transfer which is attached to a TH350 transmission so I would prefer to have manual locking hubs as per reasons below... Re: Ifs hilux wheel alignment issues

Hmmm... This is a common side effect with IFS, you will find that your average wheel allignment shop only does half of whats needed to get the allignment right! & they don't torque the fasteners nowhere near enough. I have the 4inch PRO-COMP drop kit in mine & that just makes things move around even ...

Re: T/C Adaptor for T700?

Why so many variant's i dont know... I would think the gear driven T/C is stronger but there's debate on that one too! I stick with what others recomend Gear driven... Don't think you can put reduction gears in a chain driven T/C either!

Re: Best 80 series ?

I agree with old lux...
has lots of goodies, looked after & leaves you with 10k in the kitty incase anything does go wrong or to customise it a little more to your own likings.. Wish i had 20k i'd be whipping it up before some other lucky bugger lands it.
