Most agricultural equipment has greasable thrusts and also a lot of trucks. It's nothing new, just not normal for a 4WD. But mining vehicles are not normal. You would have to pump a ship load of grease in to get it onto the clutch surfaces as they are forward of the thrust bearing and grease will be ...

If one was available, a flexible line and a bulkhead fitting through the side of the bell housing. Grease nipple on the outside for easy access. Going to have a look at a genuine bearing and see if its possible to adapt or take some measurements and see if any Ag companies make one.
