My father has recently got an 80 series and we cant get it into low range. Is there some special way this has to be done?
I engaged the hubs and have used it in H4 but cant get Low. Do you pull it up when in H4? It is quite solid and there is no upward movement at all. On the stick it has ...

hey guys,
well the convertor is definatly getting hot....before i left work a mate opened one of the water lines as he said his had a block and that would let the air out...
this was done with the motor going.....water came straight out so he thought it probably wasnt that....and the convertor was ...

LPG stalling when motor warms up....
Hi Guys,
I have a 351 with a duel fuel set-up. Its an older system similar to an impco set-up.
it has suddenly started running roughly...in the morning when its cold I can complete the 25min drive to work no worries....
on the way home as soon as the motor gets warm(bout 10-15mins) the motor ...

It was the fact that you have a weak point where the old holes were....they said there was a chance of the springs cracking there....I know lots of people do this mod but if a couple of spring shops tell me its suss thats good enough for me...
also have to be careful over in WA as the cops are tuff ...

hey guys,
just wondering if anyones done the above swap with a gas tank under the rear??
looks like it would be a tight fit on mine...I realise that the shocks would need to be moved to the front.
I will also be doing a 2" body lift.
really chasing an answer from someone who is running this ...

Need some help on working out the exact size of my rear diff as I'm getting a locker from the states.
fj40 full floating..has 10 bolts on the housing. 30 spline.
I can;t check the ID plate as its not the original diff...
Have been told its 8.8" but just want to verify...

I have had a shorty for quite some time....They are great for all the above reasons.....BUT....If you want to go camping of the beaten track for more than a weekend then they are tight for space.....
Mainly for fuel and water....But if you will be near towns it isn't so bad as you can go re-fuel ...

I want to open up the clamps of my leaf springs on my 40....
I have a full spring pack at the mo..
On the rear: can the clamps on both sides of the centre bolt be opened without introducing axel wrap. the leafs are quite stiff... but I have a 351...

hey guys... I've just picked up an aircon unit(supposed to be factory) and it goes in place of the cowl that goes from fan to heater...
how do you get the heater to work??? is it supposed to work off the aircon unit?? or is it a throw away??
