Re: fuel
Mine was getting 700ks to a tank before i got my timing belt done, but i think the previous owner must have dodgied the fuel mix because it has more power but only gets about 450-500ks now. I have had it checked twice and they say it is as per manufacturer specs. Adding LPG fumigation is meant to ...

Re: 2.8 Hilux Fuel Consumption
Mine does repeatedly return 10.5 l/100km around town. On the highway it is a bit less if i sit on around 100km/h Reco engine (33k) pump reco, valves shimmed 15k after rebuild, timing set correctly.. running 31" tyres. This may change as today it's getting a full beaudesert system fitted. 1991 ln106r ...

Tapping noise under floor - Hilux ln106
G'day, I have a 90 LN106 solid and just recently there has been an intermittent tapping noise that seems to come from under the passenger floor. It only lasts for say 5+ seconds. Can't see anything loose underneath. If when it is doing it then stops and i turn it off it does it again for the same ...

Re: 2.8L hilux sludging???

Since i've had the engine reconditioned and ...
