Sorry but was not looking at putting the diff housing in the cruiser, just the centre, does that make any difference. The part number for a diff lock from ARb seems to be the same.

I was wondering if my front diff from my 89 - LN106 2.8 Hilux is interchangable with my 93 75 series 4.2L ute. Looking at the ARB fitment for difff lockers they appear to list the same part number.

Try one of each, the long skinny pod and make a basket to suit the other side, best of both worlds. Works for me anyway....

A good man to talk to about this is Fred Black from Out of Town 4wd at Argenton near Newcastle. Fred has been doing it for years and I believe does a good job.
