Just a quick one, does anyone know if GU ute sway bars will fit/work under a GQ ute??

Yeah i got quoted about 3100 for the DTS turbo kit. then everything else on top.
So is this a normal price for a turbo? I am gathering it is after the looking around i have done.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the DTS brand itself? Heard anything bad about it?

Damn iit nearly worth a holiday to get it done for that price. I hope i can find someone in brissy that can match it.

I would have to agree, go the 3" with dump pipe, sounds good, runs well and apparently better ecomnomy!

AMMS quoted me that. have heard good things about them. just want to know if thats a reasonable price?? always had trucks with turbos already fitted, so this buying one is new to me!

Ok this is what it includes:
DTS Turbo fitted
SET INJECTOR PUMP TIMING
BOOST CONTROLLER
4WD DYNO TEST AND TUNE
4WD.SET AIR/FUEL RATIOS
AND TURBO BOOST.

Thats what is involved, no 3inch exhaust however is recommended.
I will be getting a 3 inch exhaust anyway.

Just got a quote for a DTS turbo for my GQ Coil cab and was wondering if this is a good price to have one fitted and everything tuned in.
Also DTS Turbos, are they good? Reliable? Anyone have one to give for's and againsts??

Yeah i think i will stick with what i know. Now on that, what is the consensus on brand of turbo? ie; whats more reliable and doesnt cost an arm and a leg?

A supercharger on a diesel?? To be honest havent heard of that before! Whats the go with that! Can u do it? Why would u do it? Whats the difference between that and a turbo?

Would it be a good buy with that many kms on the clock??

I found them to be quiet good actually, didnt have a problem with them on or off road, I didnt travel too far on them though as in distancem but they are a little softer than Tough dogs but just as capable i think.. Be careful with the road nazi's, they tend to look for guys in Big decked out trucks. I had 7 in my gu ute but was illegal. What are you going to do with your 4 inch? U want to get rid of it? I could take it off your hands depending on price.

oh yeah, mogrover was put on its side saturday night after heaps of rain on the logs. Sunday morning was fairly normal, nothing too disaturous. But as usual Fester is coping it from everyone, but in typical fashion is giving as good as he gets!!

I ran 35" Claw RAdial on my GU for a while then down sized to 33's (due to QLD Rd Laws) I have not had an issue with either size, found them more than capable on road and pretty reliable off road. I used to run on 33" Wrangler MTRs and i would take the claws anyday. As for noise on road, wount think ...

Any have any knowlege on the GU steering boxes? Ie How tough they are, when u might see signs it might need to be looked at for re-conditioning etc etc.

Any way to trick up a 2.8 ltr turbo for a GU??? Mods etc etc?? In brissy and would like abit of extra grunt!
