I just saw the GV in 4wd monthly. It looks awsome. Apparently 4play off road did a bit of the work. I wish they had a website with more info on it.

Grand Vitara lifted and all terains

Hey guys just thought I would post some pics of my Grand Vitara now.
I had an OME suspenssion lift fitted to my Grand Vitara by the 4x4 Service Centre down at Taren Point (they quoted me the cheapest price in Sydney). Ride quality improved a great deal and I found the rear end didn't go float ...

Grand Vitara Speedo Correction

Has anyone had a speedo correction done on a Grand Vitara?

Is it an electronic speedo? or a cable one?

I have actually heard of it before..

It apparently makes the shifts realy nice, smooth and light..

Thanks for the tip. I think I will try it soon.

I realy only notice this problem when I am down shifting around 60km/h and over.

I have a problem with crunch on down shift (from 4 to 3rd.. or 4th to 2nd)..

I didn't have the problem before I had my clutch replaced and gear box oil replaced.

I am just wondering if I will put a different gear oil in it this time instead of what the 4wd centre put in. They said they used ...

Pretty hard to find one that size. I have been looking for one and the only one I could find was from Bridgestone.

I am tossing up with either the Bridgestone 235/60/r16 or doing a OME lift and a 235/70/r16 BFG All terain for my Grand Vitara.

Welcome to Sydney driving.

There is something about having to overtake the guy infront of you.. I don't know what it is, but it's just that little erge that makes people what to overtake.

My friend has a VX Commodore Exec, with a Gen3 V8. Looks like a normal and he even put the hat on the rear ...

Cheers.. Thanks for that..

the 235/70/r16 BF Goodrich All Terain are the ones I am interested in. Should work well with a 2" OME suspension lift

I will look into that speedo box.. Any ideas where you found it or what it was called.

I found Bridgestone make a All terain in a 235/60r16

It would be ideal if I could put 235/70/r16 BFGs on. I am looking at a suspension lift in the near future (possibly the OME) so this would be fine for clearence.

What my major concern is the speedo being out by 8%. That would mean if my ...

Grand Vitara Tires

I recently purchased a 2000 Grand Vitara v6..

It has a set of crapy road tires on it at the moment. What I would like to know is what tire would people recommend for it.

The tire placard says 235/60/R16

I have had a look into it and most manufactures don't make a tire with that low profile ...
