80 series in all motor formats are a excellent machine. I got mine with 180000 on the clock, its up to 350000 now and outside redoing the head due to the original gas setup not being done properly, has not skipped a beat. I get 350km out of 120ltr gas tank and around the same on 95ltr petrol. Put ...

Not sure about rear bar as i do not have one, although soon to have a Cheezy rear bar. What we did was cut the mounts on the ARB winch bar and weld in extensions then weld and mount back on truck. So far have had no problems and have had the truck hanging of the ground via the winch. I WILL SEE IF I ...

If you buy them out of the states, they work out to be around $330 AUS + shipping. Which at the end of the day is not that bad considering they are apparently an awsome tyre.

I ahve a set on the 80, done 30000+ prob 70% on road, they wear really well as long as you keep on top of the pressures. Good for everything except mud, unless you air them down to about ten psi as the side walls are as tough as nails and they dont bag.

I had the same problem. Because I have 2" body lift we rebuilt the extractors and ran the whole system between the body and chassis, then dumped the pipe just behind the rear wheel. Never had problem since.

My 94 duel fuel 80 runs just shy of 6" plus 2" body lift with 35"x16 tyre no sway bars. Drives alright but does wonder a bit, corners fine although with the body roll scares the crap out of passengers :D One thing you do have to watch is getting your rear brake setup right. If you leave it as stock ...

Have taken mine off about a year ago, best thing I ever did. Offroad performance increased dramaticly. She rolls a bit at highway speed but can still drive as hard as I used to, just takes awhile to get used to and scares the crap out of passengers which is a bonus. I am running 5" spring lift 2 ...

blkmav. I would just like to point out that the Nissan in Question is not on loan from anyone, it is Meranda's new ride. And I suspect the reason you dont see it wheeling through heavy tracks is that it is brand new and was purchased as her work car. She and Simon have the 80 series for the rough ...

I suspect that you are refering to Ash's tray back, the blue one. Yes Ash has a Warn but no affiliation to Brawn. I have seen the Brawn in action and spent time with Colin at the factory and at the Alpine. The winches are rock solid and built to last. Once the Hi Mount is ready they will scare the ...
