let me lay some jeep lingos on ya...

i had a tj wrangler before (older model) and i have a wj grand cherokee now... i only test drove the SWB jk so im basing my assessment on these...
the swb jk drives alot better then the tj did... so i can only assume that the lwb jk could be ...

the Rubicon isnt really a performance division of Jeep (holden=HSV, Ford=Tickford)
its just another wrangler with some serious specs
from the factory it suppose to have 44 F&R diff, low ratios (suppose to be 4.1) and lockers, 4:1 transfer case, electronic disco, bigger tyres and a rubicon sitcker on ...

i say its an axle leak, or the left blinker fluid leak...

i thought the spectators view was damn good, spectators gets to see both course from where they are, and its properly better then the pit area, so to speak... plus you dont have to run around the bush (although it has its merits) and duck and weave between someone ...

why not 99.
one thing that really kills me is that the radiator is shit. they changed it from 2000 or 2001 onward. think they changed from a hydraulic unit to a mechanical unit or vise versa, cant remember which way it went...

if you are planning on doing some beach ...

if you really want a WJ, i would look at 2000+ built or even 2001+... i wouldnt bother with a 99...

there was no spares in teh pic, cant remember why.
but it used to straped to the roller drawers, but now the roller drawers ...

from the factory...
ZJ runs D30 front, D35 rear, some D35c, 5 link F&R
WJ has D30 front & D44a rear, 5 link front, A-frame rear.

both rear seat folds, 40/60 split.

XJ has D30 front & d35c rear, some came with Chrysler 8.25 rear, but very rare, some XJ also came with D30HP front not ...
