I currently run 2" streight pipe single on 6.2d, but will be going bigger. Is dual 3" to much? Should i go single 3"?

Currently i have 4.6 gears and patrol is burnig gas like hell....i'm getting 400km per tank (25l per 100km). What do you guys suggest and what is usually used in those conversions?

I have it on my th400 and it works great...as envy says from rev to D is a bit pain but nothing seriuos for me at leaset...

ok...after chevy (6.2d and th400)conversion my speedo and tacho dont work....or tu put it better i dont know how to connect it. Any input would be nice.

Ok....my conversion is finsihed...6.2d is in and it fired up...
.
My problem is now how to set up the e-brake? Does anyone have any ideas or maybe done it allready?

offroad pretty nice. Will idle over anything, but with 33s and no lift you will drag it! I would think gearing be fine offroad depending on what x-fer you got. Hwy he is right not so great but also not to bad, maybe top 100-110k/hr? What x-fer you running, chevy? I would spend the money and go ...

Hi....
just about to finish my conversion in GQ with 6.2d and th400 auto...but the geraing stayed the same (4.625:1). Tires are 33". What can i expect?

Unfortunelly not. Here i was able to buy OME for redicules price, heard of rancho failing and ironman as shit. BTW...prices are here high as sky. And retaliers here buy from AU also, so why not buy without middle man. And i didnt find no one with TD shocks.

One of my knobs for adjusting is MIA. Now, can you adjustit with some allen wrench or screwdriver (can see inside the hole, it full of mud) and not sure if its broke off just at knob and piece going in is in the hole or not.

I have fitted 5'' lift and went to align my wheels. After the aligment the car still pulls to the left. Before the lift the car was going straight. I went for second time and the guy said its because of the tires (whick i doubt). What is it i have to check? I think i'm first here in my city to do ...

Can someone tell me what ratios are standard in a '90 LWB GQ 4.2 deisel? try searchign grasshopper on your Compliance plate you will see HG41 HG43 HG39 thats your ratio... 4.1 4.3 or 3.9 more than likely a 4.1 I have 2.8td lwb and my doesnt say sh**t. Just chasis number and some other info, but ...

Since i'm noobie in 4wd and wanna do a 5'' lift i hear and read about castor correction. Some use castor plates and some drop brackets. Which of 2 is better and why? What are theres pros and cons?
