just about to install a new manifold gasket and noticed that it has been bent at some stage. is this still ok to install???
I can see light through the two sides of the gasket.
and also, does it matter which side goes on the manifold ??

Can anyone tell me how to identify a Holley? Have one mounted on a fj40 2f but wouldn't have a clue how to identify what type, cfm, etc? extractor rust removal?
Have picked up a set of cheap Tri-Y extractors for use on a 2f. The problem is they have been sitting a garage for the last 6-12 months and developed surface rust where they mate the gasket.
What do you guys think would be the best way to clean these up prior to installing??

has anyone installed 3point seat belts in their 40's?
will be installing a zook rear seat this weekend but not really keen on the lap belts, and prefer 3point for safety, etc.

I have a dual fuel supply setup in the FJ40 with a manual lever to select either fuel tank. What i want is to replace the manual lever with a solenoid. What I'm thinking is that a six port solenoid would do the trick, with two inlet and two returns for each tank. Has anyone have a similar setup and ...
