They have been known to blow at times.

Re: Height adjustment

HI Guys, My SWB does not have height adjustable suspension. Ther are quite a few of the jap used ones available here that do have this feature. I know the front works but cranking the torsion bars with the use of a hydraulic ram type arrangement. Does anyone know how this set-up works? Is it an ...

Compass/temp fuse position?

I have a 91 import with the compass/temp no go thought I would start at least with a look at the fuse any clues where it is located.

And any other possible handy info would not go amiss on the compass/temp no go situation.

Cheers and thanks John.

No I haven't. There was never a PTO drive released by Mitsu for a 3.0 V6 let alone a 3.5 V6 or 2.8TDI (only for Gen 1 4 cylinders). It would have to be a custom job, maybe using a 4 cylinder assembly and adapting it to the larger t/case. This will cost - custom gears, adapter plate etc. You may as ...

And yes the rear difflock will only engage if the centre difflock is on although you can bridge the wiring so it will work any time.

I'm keen to hear more on this wire bridge , you wouldn't mind telling more on this trick.

I have a 93 swb 3.0 V6 manual trans and would like to know if the rear prop shaft is the same as a 94 swb 2.5 diesel auto trans.

I have damaged my prop shaft and can get a hold of a diesel one, need to know if it would suit.

Most likely slave cylinder related. I would check that it was bled properly (no air in the system) and then check the pedal free play. This can be adjusted quite easily.
