Auto Temp gauge install
Bought a VDO oil temp gauge today and want to install the sender into the auto tomorrow and connect up the gauge. The question is which way does the oil flow out of the gearbox? Does it flow to the left hand side of the radiator first and then to the right and then back to the gearbox.....want to ...

Re: Whoaful Economy TD42T
What's your rpm at 100kmh cruise in 4th? During normal driving/throttle what road speed does it shift into 4th? Tyre size? Diff gearing? 1100rpm is pretty low to be lugging around in top gear. 100k's it is sitting just under 2000RPM...... this is 265/75/16 tyre with 4.1's....... shifting in the ...

Re: Whoaful Economy TD42T
Was a good result overall......Now have to get the auto fixed as this is probably why I have terrible fuel economy as the engine is always lugging at 1100RPM in 4th overdrive locked convertor. I rang a certain auto specialist business today in Bayswater and explained my symtoms and was advised that ...

Re: Oil from turbo
Blowby from the PCV, almost guarantee it. If you're worried about it, get a catch can, preferably something designed for diesels than can handle the higher flow. Does that mean that the PCV valve is getting dated or just normal? Will get the catch can as I don't like oil leaks of any sort ...

I have noticed over the course of the last couple of months that I have a little oil around the intake of the turbo in my TD42. Over the last couple of weeks it has gone from being a covering of oil to a little drip on the garage floor when parked over night. Where would the oil be coming from and ...

Now I have a LWB GQ factory auto with lots of additional weight added due to accesories. I added a safari turbo kit ...
