Anyone else care to help me with this. I want to be 100% sure cause it will take 3 or so months for it to arrive from Austraila.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a 1999 Montero. I know my model is considered the Pajero NL, but what comes after that, GLS or GLX? I have the wide fender flares everyone always refers to as bubble flares or something else funny. I'm ordering a snorkel and needed to know in 2 days before the next shipment goes out. Need ...

Are there any dual set-ups for a petrolium Pajero/Montero. I have looked under the hood and have not found the space available to do something like this. Any ideas and/or pics?
Thanks,
Angelo

Sounds like some more added work. Will there be a kit that includes all the hardware, unless its a simple fix that anyone can buy? Just curious. Hopefully my piggy bank is ready! I'm gettin all excited

BTW- are you going to be doing any write ups and detailed pics of all the SAS work. Not that I might be doing it, but might inspire more Gen II owners to tackle a project like that. I wish ...

Yep a rear bar is in the pipeline this year sometime.
A 2" body lift is a good mod, allows 35" and gives extra clearance underneath to work on stuff. You can tuck the exhaust right out of harms way and the rockers are higher up.
Yeah I think the fuel fillers are on opposite sides thats maybe why ...

I have one and I think its alot stronger than most think. I like it and it looks good too. Had to modify it very little to fit it under the ARB. Thats a good price for they normally are around $300. (US $) There is a total of 3 skid plates, 2 in the front and rear gas tank that JAOS makes. Well ...

I'm speechless, I bet your excited. Its good to finally see a Pajero up that high. Are you going to go with a wider rim to compensate for all that height? Whenever you get a chance, be sure to take plenty of pics underneath first and then a quick little write up after. Great work

Even if the frame of your slider is strong enough to keep from flexing, your going to run into some problems by resting your slider all the way up against the door sill.
The main issue is that your slider is going to be hard mounted to the frame, but the body is suspended by the flexible body ...

Yep very few frames are thick enough to prevent flexing when under load.
Mine have thick plates welded onto the chassis as mounting blocks and the slider mounts are bolted through these and the frame rail (4 bolts each).
These do not flex..................................

Bretwalda, those sliders are inforced pretty darn good. Great shots. I figured after damaging my underbody a little and puttin some good-sized dents under the doors, it was about time to start looking. Thinking about the same design but on my model, the body bows outward near the back door so I ...
