had the same drama with mine, as have many people with walker evans rims, pro comp have a tyre removing machine that will do the job, good luck!!!!!!!

Yes the thread was buggered so it was fixed and the new nut welded on, it has also been extended to suit lift(50mm), me thinks just shit design and not supposed to be fully compressed ???? Hoping someone has an alternative??

BROKEN FRONT GU SWAYBAR?????

My ps front swaybar keeps popping the nut off where it attatches to the actual swaybar bit??? anyone have any clues as to why or how to fix and make not happen again???????????

thats what i would have thought joel, the st,s where only fitted wits abs as an option when ordered as new and the ti,s it was std i think, mines the st model and most dont have abs ???????????

where does the batt fit :? ?? any idea if someone manufactures a cradle?? the only ones ive seen the cradle goes right where the abs module is, thanks for the info, pics would be great

its a 4.5, i know i can stop it from working but i plan to remove everything except the sensors in the diff and return it to a stock or no abs vehicle ????????

thats what i do now, pull the fuse but now its just wasted space under the bonnett and i am wanting to put a second battery there. am trying to figure the legal side out, it was on option to get it, many dont have it, so if i fully remove it cant see what the problem would be, but im not the expert ...

Not always the case polly, often supp regs involve vehicle specs or tyre type and sizes, the cancellation of stages, penalties for pit crew drinking?????????????? withdrawals or refunds and so on

found the wire after some probeing, there is a wire on the back of the instrument cluster, straight hook up to green wire on hi6 ;) and tacho now works

anyone got the tacho to work again in a carby gq once the hi6 is fitted, hoping just to hook up the green wire from the hi6 back into the car somewhere, but where???????????

any advice would be great ;)

who has done it??? where you happy with the results, in regards to steep decents, ive got a 4.5l gu auto running 35's and 4.3 diffs, the gearing is now std, wanting to improve it on down hill, atm in low range can get about 70k, not sure if the 23% will be enough but think the 43% may take too much ...

the only difference in the 80 boxes is the op shaft, the 1hz runs an 11 inch clutch which would not hold the power, change the op shaft to the td or petrol model and run the 12 inch clutch, keeping the 1hz box is much better first gear ratio is lower

make sure the holes where the panhard bolts on arnt worn, ive seen a few flog out, easy fix is weld on a high tensile washer

no special cooling, the hpc coating took about 100degc out from egt temps which must help. diffs are 4.11, normal driving is sort of normal road driving, its hard to drive it slow when v8 dunnidores want to have a go :lol: im sure highway cruising it could be a little better but just general driving ...

sorry cant help with economy, general driving it gets 30lper 100k's did the pirahna pursuit last year 180ks of grouse bush driving but used 120l of fuel :lol: werth every cent :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I can see why, it makes more power and a shit load more tourqe than any stock v8, if you want a nice tourer/cruiser go for a v8 and your v8 would also be a cheaper option :x
