its only ever happened over 60ks, it doesn't stop till i'm standing still. sometimes when i go over bumps it feels like it might be about to start, but i'm not sure if thats just the steering dampner. Sounds like my wobbles. Go ahead, try replacing the panhard bush. it's a cheap change. I wasted ...

Not familiar with the coily Sierras but i'd imagine they'd be rather similar to the Jimnys in terms of suspension set up. Have a Jim and the main cause of the Jimny death wobble is a rooted front panhard bush. I couldn't even see mine were cracked until i swapped them out. No more wobblies after ...

If you're referring to the stock 205/70/15s, i reckon they're closer to 26" than 28".

235/75/15s are ~ 29" and are a good size for them without messing up the gearing too much.

Thanks Rob.

They'll be on some Enkei 15x7s (unsure of offset atm). Will try it soon.
The bumpers were cut off after a small prang. Cheaper to cut it off then bother with repairs.

Sorry to dig up an older thread, but am interested to know what kind of guard cutting/bashing is involved to fit 235/75/15s or 30x9.5s on just a 2" suspension lift? It's a '05 vvt jimny with the *dumb* front bumper already cut-off (the plastic/foglamp bit) halfway.

Not keen on doing a bodylift.

Don't know about the front, but the rear bumpers mount differently between the narrowtrack and wt.

Found it out the hard way myself... :bad-words:

nothing a nice big hammer didn't solve though.

We call them Feroza,FerozaII(widetrack) and the Rocky is a..umm... Rocky. The U.K calls the feroza a sportrak and the rocky, a fourtrak. The U.S calls a feroza a rocky. There, hope that puts any confusion to rest. I went with the non-adjustable KYBs when replacing the 10-yr old factory shocks, and ...

That's the ex-rally Feroza with twin shocks and all the fruit right...

my question is, how does it stay legal with a bloody air filter coming out where the left headlight used to live?

Or is that set-up a show special ? Looks friggin silly imho.

You can try going up to 235/75/15.

How many RPMs are you sitting on at 100 km/h?

My feroza sat at ~3100 RPM at 100km/h on the stock 225/70/15s, but that's with an extractor and exhaust job. If your tires are still good, maybe that's an option for you instead.
