lockrite diff questions
How much should I expect to pay for a lockrite diff for an 83 hilux. It's currently got an open 4.875 ratio diff. What sort of places sell them? Is it just a case of changing the centres over or is there more to it than that?

33 x 9.5 tyres????
I've currently got 31 x 10.5's on my hilux and I need new tyres and want to go bigger. I've got an as new cheap set of 33 x 9.5's lined up. Would it look funny, or would there be any other problems by downsizing from a 10.5 wide tyre to a 9.5 wide tyre?

Hilux Rear Diff Centre compatibility???
My mechanic has just informed me that I need a new diff centre for my 1983 petrol toyota hilux. Instead of simply replacing it with another single-wheeler, I'd like to put in an LSD. I've heard that some of the hiluxs later than mine came stock with LSD's and that they are compatible with mine. Can ...

83 Hilux gearbox conversion to 5 speed???
I've got an 83 hilux with a petrol 18R motor and 4 speed gearbox. I'm looking to put in a 5 speed box. I've heard that the 5 speed out of a later model petrol hilux will bolt up behind the 18R but apparently you have to modify the gearbox mounts and tailshafts. Can anyone clarify this conversion? Or ...
