intake pipe 16v 1600

Trying to free up some space under my bonnet. I would like to relocate the air cleaner to the rear of the engine bay for plumbing straight through to the snorkel. is there a reason that the intake pipe is sooo long between the throttle and MAF ? or can i just chop it.

I have a LWB with 30's, getting 350 to just under 400 on a tank. the tank is 45 litres. if i'm FULLY loaded with camping gear 300 is more likely and gutless. Check your cooling system hasn't gunged up your temp sensor holding your car in warmup. clean your fuel system and injectors. A proper ...

a jeep body would be easy to replicate (to a certain degree), almost every panel is flat. just buy a bonnet and grill and some sheet metal. have seen a cortina body on a zuk. he had room for two tanks as the cortinas is under the boot. seated 4 ppl. looked stupid though. points for trying. :P

rediculous... i would bet $4000 000 if a female was driving (or you were wearing a suit) it would have been a warning. These cars are bought and sold like this. its not as if you modified the bar to obstruct your plate. :x

this would not be easy. possible in the rear but the front coils have the bump stop running up the centre. having ajustable front would mean a compromise in camber at either raised or lowered the tyres would sit at a funny angle at one of the positions. could be done with a sas though. it really does depend on your drving style, terrain etc. yes the front rear locker debate is strong. just some ponderings... a locker in the rear will tend to push the front tyres in sand. you will notice this if your in 2wd moreso.. there is some debate about traction needed on uphill runs. Some ...

Vitara Fopar ?

I have seen on some lifted vits that a driveshaft spacer is fitted in the rear. Some manufacturers recommend this on lifts above 2". My understanding of the geometry of the rear suspension is that lifting the rear causes the much shorter trailing arms to droop and actually push the driveshaft ...

doing a strut flip is considered a safe addition. you gain about 30mm of travel. the stock strut has unused travel at it's top end and can be spaced down up to 50mm. The old man emu struts are 40mm longer. opinions vary (according to how many cv's people are breaking) but 40 mm is deemed safe. It ...
