External wastegate is supposed to be mounted about 90 degrees from the main flow of exhaust gasses (thats from Corky Bell's book). If that EGR plug is on the end of the log style factory manifold, then mounting the wastegate there might make it fairly inefficient.

with a core of that length aren't you likely to get good cooling at one end then as the water heats up as it moves through end up with bugger all cooling at the other end ?

on the diagram they used it didnt have curved corners. they were sharp angles so i thought that would of causes a severe restriction at A with the pressure a 2 being lower so not ...

fire up google and look up supercrown. its a fella running a turbo 1fzfe in a old toyota crown. He's getting over 500 horses at the wheels.

i've got a surf with I assume the same gear as you. When I installed my pyro the egr pipe ummm fell off and I made a plate that covered the egr hole in the exhaust manifold. Drilled and tapped the same plate for the pyro probe and all is good.
