100 Series Dashboard Warning Lights Illuminating

My 100 series has spent most of December in the shed. I took it out New Years eve and found that dashboard warning lights were flashing like a christmas tree between 900rpm and 3200rpm. The lamps that come on are the same that appear when you turn ignition to "on" prior to cranking the block.

Hi Dieseldude, I only have 2 inch lift Dobinson's on my 100 - been running them for about 8 weeks no issues other than a little noise up the back when I hit a bump.

I picked up over 3 inches of lift, mainly because the originals had done 200K KMS so were shot.

I have done this once in my 100 series, called RACQ and they came out with a nice tool kit to slip beside the window. I think they got in the rear passenger door but it took about half an hour and we almost gave up.

I'd say the guy who said you can't fit 80 series gear into a 100 must have thought that I had IFS not solid axil.

So I'm researching Dobinson shocks (www.dobinsonsprings.com) and Lovells coils for 3". I figure I rather pay a little more for new shocks and 3" lift (better than 2").

Heard from Tewantin mob that the 80 series coils will not fit a 100 series, which contradicts Johnz post.

They also said that 100 Series have different rating coils based on the engine type. $350 was second hand as the owner upgraded to higher coil lift.

100 Series Travel

I have a 100 Series Standard Diesel (Solid Front Axil) and my friend has an 80 series Wagon. We both want more front travel. He has a 2 Inch coil lift happening and so I need to catch up.

To give me a coil lift I've found this:

Toyota Landcruiser 50mm lift coils plus shockers,
suit 80 Series ...
