The kit has arrived. It took about 4 days before I saw the money come out of the credit card, which I thought meant they had shipped my order but the next day I get an email from them saying that USPS Air can take between 4 to 6 weeks and for an extra US$15 they can send it through DHL which have ...

Hey Cav, I have just recently put in my 2" inch raised springs into my SWB 92 Vit, which Aldo from Allsprings made up for me. The general consesus seems to be that 2 in suspension lift should be as high as you should go. You will probably get away with 2.5". You should only go 3 inches if you get ...

Rocky Road Outfitters - Update

Hi all Just wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with Rocky Road Outfitters (US) and getting stuff sent over. I'm interested in the 2in body lift for my '92 Vitara. All up i'm looking at $225 to my door. I know I can get the parts cheaper if I put them all together myself but I don't ...

I've found the VT monroe gas shocks to give quite a good ride. Not too stiff at all. Softer than the original ride in my opinion. When I got the springs made I asked for original spec and 2 inches longer. They ended up making them 15% stronger and 2.5 inches longer. I'm not complaining as I'm pretty ...

The suspension lift is done. :D 2in raised coils OME Struts Rear VT Shocks 15x7 f100 sunraysias 30" road tyres (came with the rims for $15 each) I plan on upgrading to either 30" or 31" muddies in the near future. I ...

Not wanting to hijack this thread but does any one know roughly how mutch it will cost to get mods like this engineered ie body lift and bigger wheels About a year ago I was thinking of doing the calmini lift and was told it would cost $700 for an engineers cert. They had to do a brake and swerve ...

Any problems with these mods? UPDATE - NOW WITH PICS

Hey all, I just wanted to run past some of you more knowledgable people on the forum what I plan on doing over the next couple of weeks to my '92 SWB Vitara. I am going for a 2" suspension lift and maybe a 1" body lift. If anyone has details on where I can pick up some body lift blocks or how I can ...

I agree that the question has been answered a million times over on this board. I have really appreciated all the tech info that both SiKiD_01 and Beastmavster have supplied as it has helped me make a decision as to what my setup will be. I wasn't going to say anything on here until alarm bells ...

Sorry to jump in here without any advice but I plan on doing a 2in sus 1in body on my Vit within the next few weeks. Wouldn't 2in lifted springs and coil spacer up front be too much for the cv's? I just seems from whats been said in some previous threads that 2 inches is the maximum spring lift ...

Vitara Power Steering

Hi all, Im soon to be fitting some bigger rubber to my 91 JX Vitara and am thinking I might want to put in some power steering. Is it just a matter of finding a unit from a JLX and fitting that. Or is it more involved. Are there any instructions out there for fitting as i'd like to do it myself ...

Am I correct in saying that at the moment your running the calmini 3"sus and a 2"body.

It seems to be the general consensus that 3" body is 1" too much.

Hey all, I know it has been discussed a bit before but a I still couldn't get a definete answer to my questions from the archives. I'm currently only doing pretty easy trails but would like to get into more serious stuff, or at least compete a bit better with my mates cruiser. The problems increase exponentially for every inch of rubber over 30". Going bigger has it's price. I would estimate that for every inch over 29" or 235 ...

Vitara Body and Suspension Lift

Hi all, Im sick of my stock 2 door '90 vitara and have a couple questions about lifting it. I was thinking of a 2in suspension lift and a 2in body lift. Are there many other modifications that will need to be done to get this kind of lift? I would also like to know if I could fit 31's onto it after ...
