Doubt it's a wheel bearing as it would still be there even with the shaft off it, but have a look anyway and check for any brinelling on the outer race. I think it's the steel being folded too sharply and it just stresses it too much and cracks it, seeing as they don't heat bend them or anything. That's all I know

Where abouts are they cracking? I inspected my C pillars which have be known to crack and they havent cracked yet. mines like that too but more at 30degrees, not sure why it has done it but yeah it doesnt seem to affect handling at all.

How much wheel travel do you get? Does it stick to the track well or does it tend to go arse up alot?
