Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi'
im looking to buy a v8 2000 model disco for a daily driver/ tourer.
my disco knowledge is pretty limited (previous gq owner) so was just wanting to know what to look for, such as how many ks, any inherent problems, auto or manual,
and overall reliability.

any help is appreciated.

if i cant sell everything then i will keep it, put in a disconnect and cutting brakes and hope i get some time to use it ...

i have had a bit off interest from people wanting stuff off it. the poor thing has been sitting in my garage all locked up for months cos im just to damn busy with work to use it.

this HID conversion stuff sounds great.
is ther any type/brand of kit i should go for in particular or for that fact steer clear of.
just wondering cause there is kits on E-BAY for 190 and then some for 300 is there a difference?

ok i got back from OZrock this arvo and it was a great event.
really hard tracks and that showed in the carnage and there was plenty of that.
i left after 4 stages so my report is minimal.
sam keck broke an axle or cv on stage 1.
nam and rob rolled on stage 1 on the bosus line. nearly everyone ...

if by creepys you mean the comp spec compound ones then hell yeah, mine perform awesome on the wet rock havn't failed me yet.

buggy is ready so im set to go, bring it on should be awesome

simple and easy is hide a toggle switch in the cab that swithes the ignition from within the engine bay. if a thief cant hotwire it from inside they will cut their losses rather than popping the bonnet to try and find the problem. (more time spent means more chance of getting caught)

yeah stu i agree on them being more common thats why i am heading towards these. what are the strengh differences between the 2 and is it worth the extra cost of one over the other?

trying to decide on diffs for buggy and am looking at either GU, built dana 44 or dana 60s but cannot make up my mind so any help would be great. i am leaning towards GU but would like to know strength differences.

just got back what an awesome event, great crowd well run event and from talking to a few people its getting a really good response. the abt boys were gettin it on big time and would say they are leading. shane is travelling well to.

hey rockmutt i had my shorty stretched to 106" and retained all the body. very involved job but well worth it. give cheezy a call as he did mine trents and dean kilmurray's

hi all.
is there an reason why everyone seems to be using fox air shox instead of the the racerunner eqivelant. is there something wrong with these or whats the go? just aking so i know which is the better shock to purchase.

well what a bright bunch of chaps the tlcc lads are.
it only took 13 officials half an hour to realise that they could let vehicles out a section of fence on mini wiraba . but heh lets face it, that would mean they have used their common sense .

ah what the hell it looks like its gonna be 5-link to compliment the a-frame setup.

so would i be right in saying that if the new arms produce a near perfect angle to the chassis with a five inch lift then with the correct shock these should produce five inches more down travel than a standard arm
