got a 170,000 mile alternator form the local yard for $35.00.got it tested at the parts store, installed it and it works fine. bit worried it might be dead soon as my alternator is only 140,000 mile old and this one is 30,000 miles older.
if anyone else is looking for a new one they got on nopi.com ...

hi everybody i finally got my 19909 rocky running thanks to a new ecu. now i need a lternator hopefully for less tha $199.00
anyone got a good used one to give a new home?

thanks. i have a factory service manual on order when it arrives i'll go through the testing of the ecu etc.
i wonder if the ecu can be damaged by jump staring?
