nope i think they are using the cappa gearbox...
the 85-95 sierras (jimnny) also came out in japan with the same motor, i just think capas are easier to source in australa

I would probably suggest looking at CV carbs from big bore bikes. i Think i saw a Suzuki dR650 one that looked the right size (it design to flow a 650cc engine that has a redline double of a 970cc so it should be ok)

i am going to say yes,
because i have a g13b a g13 a and a g13ba block and all the holes for mounting are identical, including gearbox (got 2 of those too!)

i also have read about people doing it both ways all the time and no one ever mentioned any issues (other than fwd to rwd worries)

Being WA i can understand the reluctance for booty fab, have you tried 40 or 60 series hubs? i know the locking hubs are interchangeble so maybe the rest is too

no they are different, never done it but aparrently if you cut the exhaust flange of he gi you can weld it to the stock one and it fits, personally i would probably just get 16v extractors or fab a new down ipe for the gti exhaust manifold

if that doesnt make snse well its late :P

the first one was like $50 on ebay the second was closer to $200 but i dont remember If you going to do it definately go for a RR mdel. They have things like HP over time, rpm over time, peed over time etc etc the hp over time is the best cause from it i can work out torque and disrgard the first 3 ...

Suzuki swift sedans where TBi i think they are all 89 to 94-ish the later ones were balenos, relatively not that common either and i would say that the fuel map would work but would be completely wrong if you really want to go down this path a mazda 121 bubble were 1.3l and has a 6000rpm redline ...
