As per the above loose wire setup, I found that if the oil sensor wire in my 75 was off, the truck would idle only for 10 secs or so before dying. Perhaps also look into this before spending big on injector pumps etc.

I have a supercharger on my 60 with a 2H. Using a V6 commodore supercharger.
Gained heaps of torque down low, and now pulls from 800 rpm right through to 4500 rpm. Probably didn't gain too much power in reality.

Ordered mine on the Friday morning, had them Mon morning. Excellent delivery time.

I've got a set of 40 series 30 Spline super set Longfields with the chromo hub gears. Lifetime warranty, I've had to get one replaced due to unknown fault with circlip end, replacement sent same day I rang them about it. With the Aussie dollar so good now would be the time to buy as well.

I run 4 up front, two spots on top, two combos on bottom, both with light blue covers.

Very good light output.

I had the same after mine was rebuilt with new bushes.

Ended up seizing at 110km/h on the highway.

Replaced alternator with good second hand one and no problems now.

How much is a brand new door shell from toyota?? if people pay this sort of cash for a door they really stupid and just fuelling this sort of stupid pricing

$1800 for a bare door.

Problem is that its hard to find a door thats straight and rust free, hence the prices. There isn't as many 75's ...

I get 450 -480km's out of between 65-70L fills, highway driving, 110-120km/h, 75 series trayback, 35"s and 2H turbo. Truck weighs in at around 2800kg with driver.

bought a modified one of Ebay with a fair bit of goodies for $950, I kept the newly reconditioned gearbox, drop shackles, starter, alternator, aircon, injector pump, and a host of smaller bits and sold ...

Nah mine shat itself 9km's after I bought the truck, the crown/pinion was shagged and was flogging the bearing out.

I had one let go at 110km/h and destroy the entire diff, axles etc, siezed up solid.

Seeing as I have won my category twice (Breaking the most crap and expensive crap at that), I will be coming to support this time, not enter. Although might be able to persuade a mate of mine to enter instead.

I have a set of 35/12.5/15 on my 75 series which is close to 2900kg loaded weight. I am a hard driver so they get used, they have done 15,000 in a little over 5 months at present and have been used in a bit of every terrain, I even have bad camber on the front AND with no wheel alignment until last ...

I'm new on the roads (got my license on the 22nd of September, got pinned on the 27th :bad-words: ).. how much do the cops pick on us guys?

Thats a nice tray. Mine is factory with a 4" stainless rolll bar, ugly in my opinion but it grows on you I guess. Your tray is how I want to build my tray, nice and neat and simple, yet still can carry stuff.

I have to give the factory tray its wraps, I've run that thing into a lot of solid stuff ...

The one on mine runs down inside the chassis. Mine is a low mount though.

Bangers on here has a high mount turbo on his 2H and I am pretty sure his runs inside the rail as well.

Check the back of the transfer where the metal cup/seal is.

Mine was doing exactly the same thing, wouldn't leak when still, only under load.

my mates got a 75 series with 4inch suspension 2inch body.. we just put a set of 35s on it with sunraisers with a 40mm offset. the tyres just misses the back of the wheel arch and rubs the extacters when he turns right(not flexed).. does anybody with the same sort of set up have the same problem ...

The minimum age is as long as they can run. If we have anyone under 11 I'll be out in front to assist like i have done with the Navi's that are new to it and want some help.

Diff was rebuilt by a reputable company here on the coast. I have just replaced the breathers with some new trailgear items so can't rule that out. Tailshaft is near impossible to put on when the car is on the hoist, car has to be on the ground and the diff under load to be able to bolt tailshaft up.

Am having an issue with the rear diff pinion bearing in my 75 series ute. I replaced it middle of May this year and it's flogged out already. Diff has rear locker but hasn't been used due to leaking seals, car is daily driven (when not broken), highway mainly, and taken out every second ...

Whilst a gray area, the classes do cause some confusion. I am in modified, I have lockers front and rear, the rear doesn't work at all atm, the front does, however I prefer trying to drive the course without lockers, hence why I am placed in the modified class.
