To answer the questions, just a single vent hose to atmosphere. No PVC etc. the oil use seems in check. I'll have a look with the dip stick out tomorrow but it's a relatively small diameter opening. Can't see it effecting things greatly.
It does get a very small amount of oil in the coolant ...

Blow-by but good compression?
A little bit baffled by what's up with my 5L hilux motor.
It's been running a turbo for around 5 years with no dramas. This year I've noticed that the rocker cover vent hose has been venting a hazy oily smoke that wasn't there previously. The gas seems to pulse out of the vent hose at around 1 ...

Bundera Air Con
I'm looking to have air con installed into a bundera and have been told i need to source a bundera kit, which is proving difficult. I'm wondering if there are any parts common to other 70 series toyotas that i could use.
I think it's mainly the in dash parts that i require. I don't need a ...

reduction gears question
I've bought a bundera with reduction grearing. It revs at about 3400 at 110km/h and i want to lower the rmp. I dont know what kit has been installed but is it likely that the high range can be returned to normal without chaning the low?

It raised it 90mm, i'm not sure how sagged the current springs are, it sits level front to rear as it is now, but i imagine there would be 10-20mm of sag there.
Wasn't aware of the differences between the petrol and diesel front springs. There is a slight difference in the 2 pairs i have, but they ...

Off the shelf Bundera lifts
Have tried 80 series front springs all round and it was too high for my liking. So i'm looking at just buying a 2" kit.
Who makes them and which are the better ones?
is there anything wrong with the OME kit? I've read some nasty things.
Also should i just be looking to get the springs then get ...

I believe the tyre and rim association allow a 3% variation either side of their stated diameter for a certain size tyre. The 3% only applies to the rubber section though and doesn't include the diameter of the rim.
so for eg. if the tyre and rim assosiation state a 31" tyre is to be 781mm on a 15 ...

Who sells bonnet scoops??
I've spent 3 days looking for one both online and in newcastle and sydney and i cant find a decent one.
Looking to put it above an intercooler going onto a bundera. The patrol scoop would be nice, but it dips below the line of the bonnet at the front, right onto my bonnet bracing (which is staying ...
