Just wondering what revs you do at 100kms ?
Mine does 3400 at 100 in 4th with 31s

I bought a kit and spent a night re building my carb it was very messy and still did not work, I then bought a holley spent $100 getting 2 mechanics to stuff around with it only to tell me the addaptor plate provided will never fit . In the end I paid $350 and got an exchange recond carb and the car ...

ok got it running the leads were one space out but she still wont idle, have had new carb for 1 month and started not idling after two weeks of rain then when it cleared up it idled again but rain came back and no idle; so I have replaced the leads and cap and cleaned points etc.
Any Ideas

fireing order

I have just changed the distributer cap and leads over on l28 mq I also cleaned points and rotor cap. now it doesnt work.
I was wondering if I mixed up the fireing order? it does seem to have spark! does anyone know the order and how to work out number one?

Ok I run A L28 wanted to run thermos to cut down engine noise have slightly more power and be able to switch of fan when doing crossings.
I am only able to turn a spaner and thats about it, so what is the easiest to put in?

A friend has recomended replacing my shaged carby on a l28 motor with a holly, what do you guys think?
I have looked into a fuel injection but it seems you realy have to buy a whole motor already set up and this car is a budget 4x4.
