The IFS box mounting kit will fit but should be suplimented with these plates to strengthen the frame. Hilux frames are well known for developing cracks when the added sideways force of crossover is applied.

i wouldnt hav thought it wasnt much to do with tamin axle wrap, more to take the pressure off the drag link, which runs in line with the chassis and, wen brakin it puts a load of pressure on it as diff moves back (coz of shackles bein on rear) and also the studs for tha j arm. im prob wrong tho

I have the IFS rear and IFS front hubs and spacers and they work well.
You can get the hub spacers from Offroad Industries.

just wonderin, if u want a 4" lift but dont want to use blocks could u use 2" raised IFS rear springs instead? or cant u do it? and if u can would u still need a track bar

just wonderin where anyones bought these from, and wat prices u's paid. lookin at gettin sum pretty soon. and wat offset would u's recommend for a lux, aimin at 3" wider track so wat would the offset be for that. be even better if any WA boys had sum places round town ;)

i thought that if tha shackle was shorter the angle would increase, eg if u left the standard shackles on wouldnt they be pushed right back towards the rear, and then every time you extended the shackle length the angle would come back slightly

so wat would be tha difference in usin 200mm ext. shackles or tha snake racin ext. shackles which are roun 50mm shorter, would the angle on tha shackle increase more \ or would it straighten up a bit towards standard. and wat difference in flex would this have

so if u moved the rear spring mounts forward an inch which would also move it down, which would mean the blocks wouldnt hav to be so big, and i could probably use my snake racin extended shackles, which arent as long as the ones we put on badlux's. and would it flex the same, or is it the 200mm ext ...

hav u already bought the high steer? if not maybe get ORI cross ova. dont need to drop front x member at all. i had tha same issue with not wantin extra height and that was tha best way around it. and if ya really keen on high steer maybe PM guts, coz i think he ran snake high steer without droppin ...

well we fitted the spring into badlux's rig last night and they work SWEET, so it looks like ive been converted and will be doin tha same. only difference is ive got a 4" lift and with tha conversion only givin u 2" i'll have to block it. wat issues r there with blockin? how do i move tha handbrake ...
