Thanks guys, it appears mine has no charge light & my amp meter doesn't work any more I have since hooked up a new charge light, which seems to work so far.

I am in the process of wiring up a 1uz in my 40 series and I'm trying to get my head around wiring up the alternator. It has been a while since I've had this running, so I can't remember, but does the 40 series have a charge warning light? Also what does the light on the dash marked 'brake' indicate ...

ended up getting a 75 steering column today nice and cheap. This has two uni's, 1/2 of one has the smaller 75 spline and 1/2 of the other has the 55 spline - both have the same diameter end caps. Sure am, this is the last thing I have to do and its all set up.

I spoke to a bloke today that said i should be able to get one from cbc bearings, so i'll give that a go tomorrow.

Does anyone know of somewhere in melbourne where i could get a uni joint to join the spines in the picture below together?

This is the setup I am planning on using for my motor swap (40 sereis 2F > EFI Lexus 1UZ V8). Can anyone see any problems with this? Will i need a low pressure lift pump between the tank and the filter?

Does anyone know where i can get a relay connector like this? But I am after one that will hold more like 6-8 relays.

What needs to be done to the dipstick? I just put a rear sump on mine and used the dipstick that came with it... is there something wrong with this?

Does anyone know somewhere in melbourne where i can get a steering shaft shorteded and a new spline put on the end??

G'day mate, i had seats out of a sierra that fitted nicely between the wheel arches, which i'm selling - PM sent.

Sorry for the hi-jack guys - Reddo, do you have any pics of where you have re-mounted the gearbox, as i need to do this to mine to fit the new motor.

I just paid $1400 delivered with uncut loom, ecu, ignighters and AFM. Didnt come with PS pump so i will have to find that and also replace the front sump with a rear one.

My small lights come on with the headlights and the big ones come on when lockers are activated. I have also re-wired them so i can have front OR rears on only.
