I already do a complete conversion kit for the Toyota FJ80 third into a Rover housing, we use the Longfield 30 Spline CV.. It becomes a very balanced system at that point.. A bit expensive but it comes with a ton of components including Panhard rod and other bits to do the conversion ...

Red 90 has hit it spot on.

These CV's take all the details of the Longfield 27 Spline CV and put it in a Rover package. It is superior to any other CV made to fit this direct application or even a 2522 application. It is not a copy of the CV Unlimited or Ashcroft CV.

During the manufactuing of the shafts we make certain that the splines are stopped at a specific dimension creating a shoulder... This prevents the shaft from going in to far..

As a side note the early LF cv's are a perfect match for Series swivel ball housings. The newer pattern CV is too big to fit throut the stub axle pilot hole and hench the cv needs to be turned down to fit... Sell your ...
