I rang Ballarat Offroad this morning and they are refunding me the money for the pump rebuild and also for the new pump

Some of you will remember my sagas for the past 18 months.....well perserverence has paid off.

even though I had the injector pump rebuilt (nearly 2k) I bought a brand new one for $340 and a couple of surf people from NSW came and put it in for me on the weekend and well, shes like a new car now ...

Damn Dan, I dunno bout your problem, but when my rear diff went (twice and its on its way out again) it did vibrate a bit and made a loud whirring sound around 80 ks and then once getting to 100ks it stops.

Another time it vibrated without the whirring and turned out it was the uni, but u checked ...

The problem I have is it has no power on take off. The first initial 5-7 seconds it just rolls, if I am lucky, then once it goes it goes fine.

They have their problems, as do all cars, but offroad they are just as capable as any (Im sure some will argue with me here haha)

As I mentioned, I borrowed a set of coopers st and went for a play in Gembrook.
I didnt find them too bad and I felt a lot more confident having them on as when we went it was pretty muddy and lotsa fun!
I did find tho that there was one place I lost traction all together and almost ended up over ...

a body lift isnt expensive

I paid $100 for the blocks and $10 for the bolts (I got the bolts cheap tho) Some friends helped me do it, cost $110 all up. Took under 2 hrs to do the lift.

I told you I was getting the spring lift done when I talked to you on the phone last week, so dont go there!
I will let you know when I get the suspension done, been quoted $600 for OME, so if you can get better let me know (thats all round and fitted)

I just had a spring lift done today and it looks FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

springs were $120 each, only got the back done and had the torsion bar wound up.

Getting new suspension next.....quoted $600 for front and back fitted (old man emu)
