Just double check but I think the 60% of your wheel base rule only applies to trucks over 4.5t gvm, utes is only 1200mm I think, but correct me if I"m wrong. we have had good luck with tempered resets by a local blacksmith in vic, great work, and open to some interesting setups. as for the flattning springs, wouldn't the 2wd guys with utes, or old falcons/ kingswoods want their springs flattened for lowering? so the spring guys should know their stuff ...

Cross your fingers that it gets done right the 1st time otherwise it could cost you more than a new set and then there is the stress. What a load of crap - if the spring place doesn't get it right first time you go back and get them to reset them again. I had my springs reset 4" down to 3" these ...

I was running pro comp mud terrain 33" on my swb mav for about 8months before I sold it. Great wearing tyre great off road and quiet to boot. I would have kept them but they only fitted the hilux for street not flex..When the simex wear out I'll be getting pro comp again...

If you have a body lift raise your engine don't drop your tranfer. For a 3" lift I think by memory I did 6mm plates both sides of the engine mounts.
I removed them after getting a dc tailshaft.DC come with vibrating problems too if not set up properly...try reversing your standard shaft first..

the nuts on your panhard rod could be loose, your bushes in the panhard rod maybe worn out if they are poly one outing can stuff them, or what the other guy said. Just check all moving parts on the front end there will be tell tail signs of your problem..

worn body mount rubbers, get some 6mm square building washers remove the nut off the bolts going through the rubber mount, put washer in put nut on and do up. The steel sleeve inside the mount should tighten up inside the centre hole of the washer thus squashing the body mount or in other words ...

I use 2 crosscountry ones and even with the front wheels being out of balance by up to 100g, there is no steering wobble/shutter etc... that you can feel. Just choose carefully with the second one... With brand there all much the much ,at the end of the day it's just how fancy you want it to LOOK ...

Some performance alloy mags come out with short steal chrome valve that have a nut that secures it to the rim .Seal up good and you would distroy the rim before riping them out. Your local tyre shop should be able to help you .

A 2'" body lift using 12mm grade 8.8 bolts x 8 in most car give or take, is more than strong enough.12mm is standed on patrol. It's more to do with materials used in the blocks and body warp for the legal view of it..

I had a well known kit on my maverick.It was fitted properly and everything, the spline on the cast stripped out (free spinning steering wheel scary stuff)Took it back,they got another of the same brand off the shelf, same problem.Got another brand all good 2years later
