Similar problem with mine, except one head light would stay on.

Had a set of 33s on the GQ, and overall comparing to others i have run which include old style STT, 33 MTZ & 315 MTZ, imho the MTR are up there for an all rounder

Turbo would be the last thing i would do, as i said is mostly slow stuff crawling rocks at emu creek & rover park.

Just worried about losing torque if i go to 37s.

Long time lurker, not much of a poster. Any ways currently running coil cab with 4.6 gears with 315 mtz tyres, 4.2 na diesel slug, no diff locks. Real happy with this set up. Mostly slow stuff ie rocks. Was thinking of going 37s or there abouts with 43% reduction gears. Any one out there done ...

Same thing happened to mine, auto elec found it was the headlight switch on the steering column, a short across one of the contacts. He cleaned it up and it has never happened again.
