You should be able to bolt the 2LT up to the 22R gearbox if you use a diesel bellhousing. However the gearbox that's now behind the @LT would be an R series as opposed to the G series behind the 22R. The R series is a much stronger box and is worth keeping, especially with the turbo motor. In my ...

From memory the power steering runs off a separate pulley wheel that bolts to the front of the harmonic balancer, giving you the four grooves in the pic above (two for the alternator, one for air con and one for power steer). Should be pretty cheap from the wreckers.

I have heard you can get a restrictor or something to put in the line and stop this but have no other info. I'll be interested if anybody has a fix cos it's pretty annoying but i ...

The late 2-LT bellhousing (from a surf etc) should bolt up to a 3L. I'm not sure about the early 2LT bellhousing from a bundy? Can anybody confirm this?

Hi i'm dogbreath's bro. The engine i'm looking at is a 5L with 260 000 on the clock. It's out of a crashed truck that looks like it had an easy life. The guy who own's it bought it from fowles. The engine bay is probably the cleanest i've ever seen on a lux and the body's perfect apart from being ...
