From memory the power steering runs off a separate pulley wheel that bolts to the front of the harmonic balancer, giving you the four grooves in the pic above (two for the alternator, one for air con and one for power steer). Should be pretty cheap from the wreckers.

The late 2-LT bellhousing (from a surf etc) should bolt up to a 3L. I'm not sure about the early 2LT bellhousing from a bundy? Can anybody confirm this?
