Hi guys, both a friend and i are installing a turbo on our inline ip gq. we just need some advise on were to install the hoses from the injection pump. should they be pre turbo or post turbo. many thanks.

hi guys.

has anyone done this mod. here in the philippines. all local gq were sold with original air lockers rear diffs (h233b). to getting a gq diff won't be difficult.

will it be possible to transfer the my original spider gears to the gq diff?

well i'm just waiting till some one puts some step by step pics up so i can do it. Seems pretty easy to do and i got spare steering arms and all that junk, so i should be able to do it with out to many dramas. I think it would make the old girl much nicer to drive, But then i could be wrong. hi ...

try adding a ground wire from your engine to the negative pole of your battery. if the volt meter reader does not improve. best to have your alternator serviced.

Well I got one side undone, but the other side is a real bugger. Ideas to get the allen keys undone ? Should I heat up the steel part ? I dont think WD40 could penetrate where it has to go. I dont have a butane torch or anything, so I will try boiling wtaer later on ! Arghhh, I hate this shite ...

here in the philippines. we adjust the valves when the engine is cold are .14mm. thats whats stated in the service manual. is that the same as .34 when its warm. cold is u left the car overnight and adjusted the valves before starting the car the next day :lol:

if your bearings are ok. the pistons of the caliper might stuck up. u will have to overhaul the calipers.

My mate and I ordered new springs from Westcoast suspension, mine for an MK, his for a MQ, they arrived looking same except for the straps holding them together, mine cleared but close, his did not clear at all, I think he grinded a bit off his to get them to fit, there was no way they were gonna ...

hi guys. i need your help in choosing my shox for my mk. I lifted my patrol up 5 inches so my orginal ome shx won't do. the length of the safari and GU shox are just perfect. so which do you think will give a softer ride. the OME for safari or for the GU. thanks :lol:

i beleive that all hinges will get worn donwn eventually. so dont worry about it. i dont suggest to take the springs out. resistance from the hinge will be avoit your door from swaying wide open. you might end up damaging you door and fender when your on an incline.

when you dissasemble your front axles to replace the bearings. you might as well service the auto hubs as well.

if your using auto hubs. the bearings have eaten thru the housing. ul be lookng for new ones soon. same thing happend to me and cud not find the bearings so i went manual hubs.

Yep real easy!! But I think I may have got lucky with my combination. I didnt have to do anything with my master cyl and the rear bias is spot on. Its been in now for a couple of months and I drive 40 kays to and from work every day with lots of steep up and down hill. Absolutely no problems or ...
