Land Cruiser 4.7 petrol V8 exhaust

I would like to fit an after market cat back system to the above vehicle. I see that Lukey, Pacemaker, Genie etc. do a system and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of these systems. I have heard that droning is a problem when changing the exhaust on the vehicle and would ...

Re: 200 Series GX Landcruiser - Best Dealer Price?

I recently purchase one from Lander Toyota at Blacktown Sydney. Even freighted to Brisbane it was still up to $14k cheaper than buying one in Brisbane.

200 series petrol after market exhaust

I am looking to fit an after market cat back system to my UZJ200R and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in this area. I am hoping to achieve a better v8 note without the drone commonly associated with quad cam v8 engines. I believe Pacemaker, Genie and Lukey make a system and would like ...

I am considering fitting an after market system to my 200. Can anyone recommend anyone who has fitted a system to this vehicle before in the Brisbane area. Any info would be appreciated.

UZJ200R Fuel Economy

It would be be appreciated if you could provide any real life, no BS experiences with regard to fuel usage by the UZJ200R.
Toyota claim an average usage of 14.5l/100km but any real experiences based on average around town driving, long distance highway driving and towing would be great.

I see the problem. You're asking where to buy 4x4 tyres but what you really want is cafe terrains. Fourbys probably aren't a premium Bridgestone dealer because they don't move alot of them so aren't able to buy them at the crazy prices you found. Best to stick to one of the main Bridgestone ...

GU sub tank problems

I have a 2008 GU and the sub tank is not pumping fuel to the main tank. The sub tank light is showing on the dash but the light on the actual switch is not illuminating.

Has anyone ever had this problem and if so know what the fix is??

Having had several Patrols (ZD30s) as company vehicles with high mileages and never having a problem with any of them, I think it is like everything, if it is mechanical you can have problems. Treat them right and they will look after you. 2002 sold at 302,000 kms 2005 sold at 348,000 kms 2008 now ...

My 2003 3L did 408,000 kms and was also still going strong when i sold it.

I think you need to talk with your dealer more firmly, or find another dealer. Dealers are well aware of the oil consumption issue and should have put it on an oil watch so they can record the cosumption accurately. You don't state the size or weight of your van, but I've never heard of anyone ...

WTF is it with the LC200 4.5?

I have a 12 month old 200 series and it is the biggest heap of s&%t I have ever owned. It uses around 5 litres of oil per 10,000 kms. I approached the dealer and they said that this should settle down at around 150,000 kms. It has the front diff replaced twice already so they obviously still run ...

People need to move on and not dwell on the past. Most people who bag the ZD30 have never owned one and don't know what they are on about. Sure there have been issues but name me an engine which hasn't had it's problems. The important thing is that it has been acknowledged by Nissan. I have owned ...

You will buy a good series three or a high mileage series four for that money. The ZD30 is really your only option. Petrols are too heavy on fuel and the 4.2 is too expensive to buy and are also thristy. Reliability is not longer an issue with the ZD30. I have a 2004 GUIV for work with 370,000kms on ...
