has any one else expirienced their GQ jumping out of 3rd gear ,it only hapens when i back off ,,i have a 50mm body lift and i thought it may have been the boot pulling it back out of gear, but i removed it and it still happens ,, any ideas what it could be ive been told syncro hubs worn but before i ...

just looked at my reciepts and it was $145 thats with a new rubder hydralic hose fitted and new fittings from memory no waiting he has them instock cause its a common problem

is it on gas .if so it could be a converter prob ,,on some early conversions if the gas converter was put on with the diaphram facing across the car instead of in line with the direction of travel then under braking the engine would run badly .

My brother thought he'd get me motivated into fixing my TB42 ,as it had a blown head gasket so he pulled the head off for me .. now im putting back together and ive come across an orange "o"ring its about 50mm in diametre and 4 mm thick,, can any one tell me where it belongs ????? cheers Bill

hi guys
got the standard miss in my tb42 ,,done the elimination thing new points and condensor.extended rotor,new cap, leadsand plugs. but its still there so i need to look at valve clearences ..can any one tell me what they are please ..carby next ..

hey guys a mate just bought a gu and has heaps of 15'' rims ands he wants to now if they will rub when when hes 4bying or does he have to go with 16'' rims .
hes tried em on the car and they fit but are a bit closer to the calipers and aint sure if they will be ok

since doing a 2 inch body and 2 inch suspension lift as well a fitting 35s on my GQ the gear shift lever is getting quiet warm ,,i noticed that the rubber boot is putting some pressure on the lever trying to push it out of gear slightly could this be the problem or should i look elswhere cheers bill

i havent installed LPG for a while but up until the time i stopped it was legal to install the tank in the rear of a wagon as long as the venting was in good workin order (no obstructions or kinks) and any gas leaks would vent to the out side of the car

retread or new on a camper trailer in most cases can have the potential to end up self destructing ,because the tyre might be 5 or more years old and still have 50%or beter tread on them but only get used once or twice a year .buy this time the tyres have deteriated in quality but dont get replace ...
