Zuk railer

I was thinking of replacing the dogy 13" rims on my 6x4 trailer with some old sierra stockys, but to do this I will have to replace the 4 stud ford pattern hubs, with some sort of zuk stud pattern hubs. Has anyone done this, or can anyone suggest the best source of sierra type hubs?? Any info would ...

Hitman, I'm pretty new to this 4by caper, and my zook has got a homemade 2" bodylift, and 31" muddies. I persuaded the guards a bit, and it rubs slightly on full droop/full lock, but its great fun out in the bush. I can go just as many places as my mates Jackeroo and he's spent thousands, and my ...

Recovery Hook

I wan't to bolt a recovery hook of some sort to the front of my zook, but need a few ideas of the best way to attack the job. Its a 92 sierra with 2" BL, 31's with 2" lifted springs. It also has a poxy alloy bullbar which seems to be in the way. Any suggestions???

In my opinion, 2 inch is a much easier option. Apart from the blocks, you wont have to make any other major mods. I did a 2" and got away with just a bit of fiddling, but I reckon with a 3" I would have had to make a new fuel filler hose, mods to brake lines, and extensions to the heater hoses ...

Droopypete....that is an option I guess, but surely an easier option would be to get wheels with a wider offset??!! Not only will it fix my problem, but will increase the track, making for a more stable rig!!

I've got 31 x 10.5 muddies on now, and they don't stick out past the wide track guards at all...but the tyers do hit the springs on full lock

Did you buy the sunny's new, or 2nd hand...and from where?...how much?? I have a set of 15 x 7 Sunny's, but with 31"s they rub on the springs, had no drama;s with 235-75's, so I'm looking for some with a bigger (negative) offset

In my old LJ50 HT, the spare was mounted in the back from the factory. It was mounted vertically on top of the wheel arch, in front of the side window and had a simple threaded higed rod dodah that it mounted to...of course, you'd have to check if a 31'd fit!!

I've just put on Apache Muddies in 31 x 10.5 They are a similar pattern to the BFG and I reakon they are awesome. I certainly wouldn't go back to an at or st type tyre. Also, they are speed rated to 120kph

I have just fitted 31" muddies and for a daily driver wouldn't want to go too much bigger...that said, my engine/driveline is basically stock, and I reckon even with more in the go department wouldn't go any bigger on standard diffs/axles. I only had the 31"s put on today, and already after a trip ...
