Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Not sure if someone has already mentioned this bualready confirmed that you bolt the 1G Bellhousing to the G52 Box. Custom Engine mounts are needed. You use the flywheel and clutch off the 1g.

Search for "bundera engine converion" by me from years ago.
I put a 1ggte into my bundera..

Just wondering if anybody knows where I can get a Turbo exhaust manifold for a 2.8L Diesel Lux?

What turbo flange do most of them have? Is it a t25 flange like many of the garrett series?

how much do they ...

Does anybody know if a 1hz diesel engine can fit into a 91 Hilux engine bay? Would be a bloody tight squeeze. The 1PZ(?) The five cylinder one would probably fit, but I really want to know about the 1HZ.

Has it been done? If so any info or pics?

so getting to the very tip by around the 20th of December would be too late in the wet?

I do not have a time limit for the trip up to the tip as you will always be held up by crossings or breakages. So I do have some time to wait out "slightly" swollen rivers.

This is the only time i can go ...

Just wondering if many people head up to the cape around this time of year. If so, are the fuel stops open, or do they close down for the wet season? (I think I read somewhere that the whole cape pretty well closes down during the wet season, but am unsure if this correct).

The 1GGTE engine that I put in my bundy previously used the w-series box and the bellhousing bolted straight up to my G52.

1GGTE Engine -> 1GGTE Bellhousing -> G52 Gearbox....etc

The bundy had a 22R engine, 2.4L Petrol.

Hi all, been a little while since I posted here. As most of you know I sold the Twin Turbo Bundy and bought a Diesel Hilux....

As of today I have a problem with the hilux, the reason I say that the problem is compression related is because the car will not hold on an incline with the hand brake ...

On the topic of timing belts and tensioning pullies. is it worth replacing the tensioning pully along with the sprockets and seals when doing the timing belt on a 2.8L Diesel with 195000?

Those "Flap Type" Air Flow Meters are a pain in the bum to mount somewhere. I sat mine in the same spot as you have yours but later moved it over to where your filter box is and used a highflow foam unifilter. I dont have a snorkel though.

Anyway, 3 days...very impressed. ARMS UP ...

I have the Unimig Portamig 200 and it is a top unit.

Ok Well in the next 2 or three weeks I will hopefully have my new troopie and I will be coming up with extra cash to get some mods done while in melb.

I would be after Front and Rear Airlockers with Heavy Duty Airlines (HDAL) to suite a HZJ75RV 4.2L Diesel Troopie. I would also need the Arb ...

I am after a new set of 35"x12.5"x15" Radial Baja Claws on 15"x10" Wheels.

Who in Melb would have good prices?

What is the go with the interior trim colours in troopies and other 75 series toyota's?

I thought that Toyota stopped with that brown fawn colour in 1985/7 and started with the nicer grey colour, but I now realise that I am very wrong!

I am confused as my bundera is an 88 and has the grey ...

Transport have approved me to run 10"s on road so I was either going to go 16x10 or 15x10 when I get it.

Is there much difference in the cost of wheels and tyres between 16's than 15's?

What size rims come out standard on the 75 series Toyota?

I am pretty sure it is 16"....am i correct?

Is it possible to fit 15" rims by grinding off a bit of the caliper? Do you have to grind off much or is it pretty straight forward?

Just wondering if people could post up some figures regarding fuel consumption of the 4.2L (Six Cylinder) Diesel Engine (in any model toyota).

If you have oversize tyres fitted, could you please include the difference you found when going bigger and what size tyres you are currently running ...

Would be awesome BOOSTED with a TD06 Turbo and bigger injectors!

Ok here is my idea.

75 Series Troopie
SOA using OME Springs with Rancho 9012's all round.
35" Rubber using 10" wide rims that are offset so they stick out a bit more.

There would however be no body lift ...

Does anyone know or have pictures of a 75 series troopie that has had a spring over axle converion done?

Becuase the troopies are so big and heavy, would that sort of lift make the it really tippy?

If you were to fit 10" wide wheels on say 33"x12.5" tyres would this cure most of the stability ...

ohh yeah and you can activate hi-range 4x4 (the electronic button that controls those actuators not the low-range lever) while moving. THE Hubs MUST be LOCKED in though. I have never had trouble even at excessive speeds
