they run separate left and right circuits for the high and low beam and separate tail dash and park light circuits

i'd check for power at teh bulbs then for power out of the combination switch, I had one do strange stuff and the switch was full of crap

you only need to be unlucky once with a cut rope or damaged brake shaft and its goodbye to your truck and for a small budget race teams that would be hard to recover from

Owners manual says 500kg braked or not, my Hayman Reece towbar on my 95SWB says 1200kg, in QLD at least the law is manufactures limit or I think if thats not stated 1.5 tomes the GVM.

So for me at least 500kg is the limit, not sure if SA would differ.

the first hard hit you take the rollbar will just punch through the wheel tubs. A roll bar needs to be attached to the chassis for the most strength.

Just get a soft top tub, you are over capitalising on silly mods just because you want to.

pre load can also be checked by tying some cord to a wheel stud and wrapping it around the outside of all the studs and pulling on the end with a spring measure (fish weighing scale type thing) to measure the force needed to make the hub turn, you need 1-3kg of force to be withing range

do you have an uprated alternator? are you fitting the right size main fuse?

doesnt seem possible to me but seems like you are simply drawing a lot of current through all your lights being on and the alternator is putting more back in than the fuse is rated at

you can drill the chassis like christover on a NT but the rear nut is hard to get on and on a WT the shackle can hit the hook, not the strongest place to put it either

what makes you think the o2 sensors will make a difference? in reality the computer looks at them at idle and cruise to trim the fuel by a few %, there is a major problem here

Oh I know.... I got knocked for RWC by the flash speed thing and needed to fix it quick. When the bulbs go I'll put a resistor in. apparently there is no direct fit led flasher unit for sierras, the base has to be rewired.
