Round 2 is set for Nov 27, we are looking for Competitors and Spectators. This round we have a winch stage, more spectating areas and seating. Thats what we're aiming for, just within an hour of the CBD. Tracks will be similar. We don't have anything like that in Vic, We take off into the bush and come back later, so spectators don't really get a good look.

Presented it at the CCDA meeting tonight and got alot of interest. only just got the web up and entry forms done so taking entries as of today.

A new era in 4x4 comps is starting. We've got Calder Park Thunder Dome and Phillip Island Raceway tee'd up.

First round is at Calder Park on 10 and 11th of September.

My reading of the rules, about a 1000 times to double check is that no exo for wagon, only on cab chassis where 2 seperate cages are permitted. the rules dont actually mention exo only where the bars must be. Yes, he removes Plastic to reduce weight. Was a very interesting project though. We managed to put a winch inside his bumper with a minimum of steel (could have been lighter with more technology) and 2 cuts in the Bumper all t=you can see is the alloy fairlead and hook in the bumper.
