Here here, Sam. Looking for sponsorship for the 4x4 Super Truck Series has been much easier as we have been able to quote that 4wd TV and ORP will be there. Any way I am placing my trust in the ability and dedication of Simon and Miranda ( and Tom) at 4wd TV. They produced the ad that is running ...

Bad religion,

Matt and Paul are not blood related, the names are a coincidence just as if 2 Jones got together.

Hopefully they will both be down for the comp with Matt (Sold) Buggy.

Thats what we're aiming for, just within an hour of the CBD. Tracks will be similar. We don't have anything like that in Vic, We take off into the bush and come back later, so spectators don't really get a good look.

My reading of the rules, about a 1000 times to double check is that no exo for wagon, only on cab chassis where 2 seperate cages are permitted. the rules dont actually mention exo only where the bars must be. It does state that they substantially reduce body shell deformation. An exo would do this ...

Some OBC updated

Sounds like the Mud is big, the stages are getting worse with every car thru them and they are forced to navigate into the middle of lagoons so navi is basically swimming out there. Roger Smith has damaged A frame and shreded a prop shaft into 3 bits, repaired and back on road. Hummer had some ...

My understanding is That "Low Pressure Gas" are Hydraulic (oil) shocks the Gas used to compensate for the volume change with piston travel. Gas only shocks are High pressure. Foam cell are low pressure gas with the oil the Foam used to prevent Oil and Gas mixing. Have hammered Low pressure Gas/Oil ...

Babyzilla, Good question, we got "Bogged" down in the electrics and duty cycles. Any type of PTO must have motor running so petrols in rivers are in jepardy. Other than the hydraulic on the power steer pump not many vehicles can run a tranny driven PTO (no access on transfer cases anymore), and very ...

Yes, he removes Plastic to reduce weight. Was a very interesting project though. We managed to put a winch inside his bumper with a minimum of steel (could have been lighter with more technology) and 2 cuts in the Bumper all t=you can see is the alloy fairlead and hook in the bumper.

Bogged, If you are refering to Robin with the GU bumper mounted Winch, Against my advice Robin opted for the XR-8000 then the HR-9000 for reasons of keeping weight as low as possible. Last I heard from Robin was a lovely story of how the ZR-9500 pulled him and his family out of the goo late on a ...

Sorry DavidH,

When I'm being called a liar publicly thought it justified a detailed response.

It's not like I mentioned we also have portable winches that don't require a winch bar!!! That would be blatant advertising.
