YJ wrangler diffs

I have hust purchased yj springs and a kit to bolt them in to suzuki sierra. I am now considering what diffs to use. I have seriously been considering toyota hilux diffs, but they seem a little wide to hide and can't b made legal. I am now thinking about YJ wrangler diffs, does anyone know much ...

What about yj jeep diffs?

Surerly they wouldn't be as wide as the hilux, and would be stronger than sierra because they came with a 4.1L behind them.....

Any thoughts

Mick

I got the wrangler kit from rocky road outfitters

http://www.rocky-road.com/zuksus.html

I picked the springs up locally for $50 ea

I havent put the kit in however because I want to have the diffs ready to set up before I make it unable to be rolled.

Well, what can i say? Things ahve drifted from the topic quite a bit. I don't seem to b much wiser on the matter. The poll results say go hilux; the posts however don't seem to reflect this. People seem to be telling me to go with MQ, but the diff gears arent interchangeable! I still dont like ...

I think I'll give the Nissan diffs a miss.

What the go with moving the front spring hangers Drew? is this due to the size of the diff centre? or is it the position of the centre.

Anyone got a pic of a sierra with hilux axles? Will they attract too much attention?

Just wondering whether anyone knew the difference in ratios between the diesel and petrol diffs?

Does anyone know how much the axles/diff/housing weigh?

thanks

I didn't add nissan axles because I thought they were considerably wider; I thought they were wider than the cruiser? Plus I have had some bad personal experiences in a dreaded nissan. It is a leaf sprung zuk, although I dont know if the stockmans are widetrack? Do the hilux diffs centres sit in the ...

I know this subject has been touched on a lot before but I still have my questions that I cannot seem to find answers for in previous posts. I would like to open up discussions on the matter, any advice from people who have been through this would be greatly appreciated. I am Halfway through putting ...
