sounds like a BOV or blow off valve , heaps of kids have them in their Jap turbo cars and you hear a big whoosh all the time when they drive bye slowing down to lights , etc

the t.18 i have is bolted up to an early amc 6 , i hear the later version bellhousing bolts straight up to AMC V8's ( 72' and on )

I have a J200 project ...

The Cab is easy to take off , just undo the bodymounts , desconnect wire harness and linkages , steering column , take front end off and whammmooo ............

J series have same body shape , mounts etc . Only real difference i know between a J200 and a 2000 is that the 2000 is a hevier duty model ...

ESAB's used to an awesome machine , not sure what they are like now as they are assembled in India or somewhere now . they had or have great welding charateristics especially for ally .

- NP 208 is out of the cherokee ( AMC 360 > TF 727 > NP208 ) that i have , wrecked the cherokee for parts .

- dana 20 is in the J seies ( AMC 232 > T18 > D20 ) is my current project , plan to take out the 232 & T18 and replace them with the AMC 360 & TF 727 , leaving the D20 there !

I have seen advertised winchs that are hydraulic and sapposely run off the power steering pump, i was thinking , would there be enough flow/pressure in the average fourby power steering pump to be able to run them ????

Anyone got a AMC 401 motor they want to sell , preferably a rebuilder ( blowing smoke ) or a good motor . building a Jeep wagoneer project vehicle .
Have a good 360 , but the extra cubes would come in handy & parts are easier to come by .
